Serpentine Arborvitae: Store

" MANTRA AMERICA " - CD

MA_stamp.jpg

Serpentine's " Mantra America " glows and expands through a bright and melodic unfolding of sitar, tabla, djembe, flute and mantra, mixed in Sanskrit, English and free-flowing tongue as well as Native American tones echoing through rhythmic rotation in praise to the land. Mantra America conveys a successful fusion of cultures, blending into this continent the spirit of eastern mysticism with the already profound spirits of that which is native to this land. If one enjoys any such variation of Hindu sounds as well as Native American then you have stumbled upon a treasure that in my experience has not been explored before. Once again Serpentine has offered her musical gifts to the world and we are all enriched by them.

Sublime beauty, grace and wisdom saturate this visionary musical work. Serpentine casts a spell with exotic ambient pop atmospheres. The lyrics are intimate and uplifting with Serpentine's liquid vocals effortlessly modulating a full spectrum of human emotions. "DREAM WITH ME "  awakens us to our human magnificence. Affirming the powers we possess to create our own reality , to heal others and ourselves, as we navigate the sea of emotions that rise up in that awakening.

" ROCK THE GODDESS " - CD

RTG_stamp.jpg
Haunting, exhilarating, moving and mystical; the intoxicating sounds of " Rock The Goddess " will conjure a reverence shared by Goddess-centered peoples toward the Great Mother of us all. Serpentine's musical recipes are powerful incantations, that touch a very primitive point within confronting our hidden aspects of persona. This brings the listener to new heights. With her savage melodies, Serpentine lures you into the holiness of wild nature, the tooth and claw that evolved us into the creatures who have survived millions of years upon this planet of life. Shedding the many layers of our present society's sense of separation and enforced domestications as she tempts us to explore our more primitive recesses of self. Every Earth-Centered individual will fall in love with the completion of the world famous Pagan hymn "We All Come from the Goddess." "Little Witch House" is perhaps one of Serpentine's most noted works, a delicious collage of disturbing and ominous melodies and shrieks, a Hansel and Gretel-like Grim's fairy tale set to music. Serpentine's free style, experimental tongues. Her wildly eloquent trills and deep-throated vocalizations come through like untamed - yet highly mastered - chants that surge from profound reaches of the psyche so that the listener may be acquainted with the pure animal-spirit state of human experience.

" TEMPLE OF THE HEART " - CD

Recorded in Tel Aviv, Israel

This is one of those albums that supercedes the usual banal chatter. With a sound that binds traditional instrumentation with digital orchestrations and religious persuasion with futurist manifest. Serpentine's"Temple Of The Heart "  is a genuine union of historical and cutting edge elements. In a cosmic swirl of profound new age Enya like arrangements and conventional Middle-Eastern motifs, Serpentine's vocal passages are a passionate declaration of love and devotion to the secular and sometimes sacrilegious. With the silken tones similiar to Ofra Haza, Serpentine constructs a multi-blossomed bouquet of synthesizers and traditional hand percussion, that evokes a tribal, mystical ambience. From there her lyrics explore the sensual and surreal : " Mother nature makes no mistake, no separation between spirit and flesh, let it guide your soul to soul...sex is holy ! " Ahh, yes. !! A little daring " White Witch " , a bit glamourous " Goddess Girl " , with some very arousing proposals" My Body Is My Cauldron " Serpentine will appeal to broad-minded listeners, that enjoy both Paula Cole and Dead Can Dance with this poppish global feast. Exceptional production and visionary sound.
